Refunds

Getting your money back

7 days from the day you buy, no reason needed. One payment means one thing to undo: there is no subscription here, nothing to cancel, and no renewal to catch you out.

The policy

You can ask for a refund within 7 days of buying, and you do not have to give a reason. Ask either way you like: write to support@brokerexam.ca, or take the request to Paddle, which took the payment.

Write from the address on the account and say when you bought it. The order number is on the receipt Paddle emailed you; it makes this faster, and it is not required to ask.

After 7 days, ask anyway if something has gone wrong. A window is what is promised, not the only thing that will ever be done.

Who actually sends the money back

Paddle. It is the merchant of record for this site, which means it sold you the product, took the payment, and handled the tax. A refund goes back through Paddle to the card or account you paid with, and it appears on your statement under Paddle's name rather than BrokerExam's.

Paddle's own buyer terms let you take a refund request to Paddle whatever this page says. Asking here is usually quicker, because the account is here.

What happens to your account

The paid bank closes when the refund is issued, within a minute or two of it: Paddle tells this site, and the unlock is taken back automatically rather than by somebody remembering to.

The free half stays open. Your answers, your scores, your flashcard schedule and your sitting date all stay where they are, and your account is not deleted, so if you buy again later everything you did in the meantime is still there.

What a refund is not for

Not passing the examination is not a reason to expect one. Nothing on this site promises a pass, and the $59 buys the material rather than a result. What it is for: buying twice by accident, buying the wrong thing, or a product that does not work for you and that you have not worked through.

Copying the question bank out of the site and then asking for the money back is the one case that gets a no.

Chargebacks

Ask first. A chargeback raised without asking costs BrokerExam a fee and takes weeks to settle, and there is nothing a chargeback can get you that an email cannot get you faster.
